Monomeath Web Solutions is a freelance website-building business located in the Boyne Valley, owned by Mark McLachlan. The Boyne Valley is centrally located between the cities of Gladstone, Bundaberg & Rockhampton, Central Queensland, Australia.
My aim is to provide an easy and effective way for you to have a sound, secure, attractive, well supported website. In my blog I aim to share some thoughts and ideas about owning, operating and improving websites.

In about 2001 I was part of a group who established a not-for-profit organization to promote and build our small rural community. In 2003 we decided we needed a website. My children, then at university, volunteered to do the build. (Many static pages built using html, css and some php, which we later ported to WordPress for ease of management).
It needed to be kept updated, so I had to learn some new skills, which led to the world of building web sites.
